The most recent edition of the ERAI INSIGHT newsletter features a How-to-Spot-a-Counterfeit column about heated solvent testing (HST) submitted by Advanced Component Testing. ERAI is a well-recognized leader in counterfeit risk mitigation and ACT is proud to have been allowed to contribute to their Q2 publication. ACT’s Director of Operations and resident expert on authenticity inspection, Mike Zambito, detailed his experience performing HST on one particular FPGA to provide detailed insight into the test methods and considerations. Revamped ACT Website Goes Live
ACT released a new version of this website on May 28, 2017. The revamped site not only looks and feels a bit different, it also features additional content and tools to help site visitors get more of what they need, expeditiously. Highlights include expanded content on services, standards and test methods; a convenient online request-for-quote form to help expedite the process; and a library of ACT literature.

ACT Participating in Upcoming SMTA Counterfeit Symposium
Advanced Component Testing will be attending the SMTA’s Symposium on Counterfeit Electronic Parts and Materials at the College Park Marriott Hotel & Conference Center in Maryland between June 28 and June 30, 2016. The symposium will focus on developments in the electronic parts supply chain, parts selection and management through the entire life cycle, and solutions currently in development.
Industry veteran and ACT Business Development Director, Dan Semon, will be in Booth 4 at this annual event. Attendees are encouraged to visit Dan to explore ACTs expanding suite of services and how they might benefit your organization–and pickup up some ACT takeways.
Advanced Component Testing Relocates to Accommodate Expansion
Ronkonkoma NY, May 2, 2016 – Advanced Component Testing (ACT) began operating in our new facility at 3279 Veterans Memorial Highway in late April.
