ACT Returns as Exhibitor at 2013 ERAI Executive Conference

Ronkonkoma, NY, March 12, 2013Advanced Component Testing will be exhibiting at the upcoming 2013 ERAI Executive Conference, to be held at the Rosen Centre Hotel in Orlando, Florida on April 18th and 19th, 2013.

This year’s conference theme, “Gaining Momentum – Supply Chain Advancements in the Fight Against Counterfeits,” will focus on the improvements that have been made over the past year in counterfeit components as a result of Section 818 of the 2012 National Defense Authorization Act, signed into law last year.  This new law imposes new responsibilities on the DoD, requiring its suppliers to detect, avoid and eliminate counterfeit parts from the defense supply chain.

“Advanced Component Testing is proud to be on the forefront in the war against counterfeit electronic components.  In the last year we have taken strides towards this goal by becoming an ISO 17025 accredited laboratory, demonstrating that we perform to a higher level of technical competency.   We invite attendees of this year’s conference to stop by our booth, #120, and learn about our counterfeit detection capabilities and our superior customer service,” said Dan Semon, Sales Manager of Advanced Component Testing.

ERAI believes that this year’s conference will serve as evidence that there is progress is being made towards the detection and avoidance of counterfeit parts within the defense supply chain, but while showing that there is still much that remains to be done.
